I consider myself a "clinical opportunist" with an educational, brain-based, and feminist approach to therapy. I value providing clients with tangible skills to manage their mental health while also providing education that's aligned with my clinical mindset & values. Over the years, I have gained most of my clinical experience and education through supporting children, adolescents, and adults on the autism spectrum. I have gained a passion and commitment to providing neurodiversity-affirming care to my clients, and education to families, teachers, and other professionals who work in collaboration with me and my clients. When providing therapy to autistic clients/clients on the autism spectrum, we may focus on identity exploration and empowerment, identifying strengths, navigating interpersonal relationships, and education and support for parents looking to provide affirming and educated parenting to their child on the spectrum. Additional experience as a mental health therapist includes eating disorders, suicidal ideation, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, relationship conflicts, and women’s issues. My goal is to create a safe, affirming, and empowering environment for all clients.

I received my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I am currently a graduate student at Western Governors University studying healthcare administration. Furthermore, I am a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. Starting in 2018, my experience as a behavioral health practitioner in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis includes early intervention, pediatric feeding disorders, ethical challenging behavior management, caregiver training and education, and client advocacy. Furthermore, I completed my mental health internships in eating disorder treatment, mobile crisis and urgent care, and college counseling settings.
I see you as the expert on you- I want to support you in ways YOU want to grow. At the same time, I believe "nothing changes if nothing changes". I empower my clients and hold them accountable to strive for the positive change they have identified they want in their life.
