Hi there! My name is Andrea Bejarano. I’m from Miami and temporarily living in Omaha. I’m currently a Provisional Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) in the state of Nebraska. I got my Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University. I’m an empathetic person who has a passion for helping people find solutions to achieve their goals.

Whether prioritizing your mental health is new to you or you’ve been invested in therapy for a long time, I’m here to assist you in any way I can. Making the decision to begin your self-healing journey can be a difficult one, but a rewarding one given the right support and tools. I know talking to a stranger can feel uncomfortable and intimidating, but I take pride in understanding the importance of building a safe environment and trusting relationship. My role is to walk alongside you and provide you the space to overcome the challenges you are facing and equip you with the tools to continue overcoming them in the future. My wish is to collaboratively work with you to build upon your strengths, and help you feel empowered to create change in your life.

I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults, and treating substance use, eating disorders, trauma and PTSD, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and relationship and family conflict. The approach I use depends on your needs and preferences. I believe every therapy session needs to be tailored to the individual and what they wish to receive from therapy. I tend to use a multidisciplinary approach by pulling from various evidenced-based modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), expressive therapy, and more. I’m open to working with anyone who is ready and willing to commit themselves to the profound journey of self-discovery and healing.
