I believe that therapy should feel personal, which is why I tailor my approach to meet each individual’s unique needs. My goal is to create a safe and collaborative space where you feel heard and empowered to make lasting changes in your life. I have worked with a diverse range of individuals, including people experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, eating disorders, and relationship struggles. Whether you're managing the effects of a stressful event, looking to build healthier habits, or seeking support as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m here to help you navigate life's challenges and move toward healing.
I use a person-centered approach, which means I focus on creating a warm, non-judgmental space where you are seen as the expert in your own life. Together, we’ll work through the challenges you're facing, helping you gain insight, learn new ways to cope, build self-esteem and increase your network of healthy supports outside of therapy.
Prior to private practice, I have experience in diverse community settings and have worked with both adults and children. I have worked as a case manager, family support worker and mental health coordinator with several Omaha-area nonprofits. I specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, domestic violence, and other trauma. I utilize a person-centered approach and include elements of Interpersonal Process Psychotherapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) with a trauma-informed perspective to promote self-reflection and growth. I aim to create a safe and collaborative environment where clients can navigate their challenges and move toward healing.
